My Story
As some of you are aware, last month I lost my mother-in-law who passed away due to kidney failure in Pakistan. Its been a tough time for the family but what lingers in my mind is that sadly hear death as well many as others may have been prevented by having the right education and facilities in place to carry out essential treatments in developing countries.
With this in mind, it has helped spur me on to do my first half marathon at the Vitality Big Half Marathon this Sunday and raised funds for Noor Foundation UK.
Noor Foundation UK, is a UK registered charity, which provides 20 free kidney dialysis centres in Pakistan to the poorest and most deserving people. They provide free equipment and train hospital staff to save lives.
My target is £2,500. Any amount you can donate is much appreciated and I hope it can make a difference to peoples’ lives.
